Meet Hiroyasu Kato

Born on March 20, 1977, in Aichi Prefecture, Hiroyasu started his culinary journey at 22. Driven by a deep love for his hometown, his dream was to spread his local hospitality around the world, starting with the success of “Gaburi Chicken.”

Gaburi Chicken has become a popular bar and izakaya chain operated in Japan with over 70 locations across Asia, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and welcoming staff, born from humble origins in Nagoya city.

Hiroyasu envisions initiatives to teach children the value of work and community. His passion for connecting with the local community is reflected in plans to host events like flea markets in store parking lots, fostering a sense of belonging and growth. This passion can be found in every bite of Gaburi chicken.
